Five Wooden shelves sit within a chalk powder coated metal frame with the clean, considered architecture of a piece designed to display — and running vertically through the centre, attached to both uprights and spanning the full height of the unit, a dramatically organic gold sculptural panel stops the room entirely. Its surface is entirely pleated — dense, radiating ridges catching the light in a way that makes the panel appear to shift and move as the room changes around it. Its edges are entirely organic — no straight lines, no geometric precision — a free-form silhouette that references draped fabric, geological strata, or the folded surface of a material caught mid-movement.
Black stained wood, chalk metal, and gold sculptural panel find their balance in a shelving unit that carries the quiet authority of the books it holds and the extraordinary presence of the art object at its centre.
