The Aster Tissue Holder was designed to give character. A semi-circular arch in warm Jaipur pink — the colour of Rajasthan's rose city carried into the most intimate corner of the home — sits on the surface with the quiet authority of a piece that references the architectural arch tradition of India while being entirely contemporary in its resolution. The two faces of the arch are covered in a radiating pattern of diagonal ribs that fan outward from the base — deeply three-dimensional, shadow-catching, and entirely the detail that makes the Aster as interesting in daylight as it is on the bedside at night.
Paint gives the Aster the particular warmth of a colour chosen with cultural intention — a tone that carries the memory of a city built in rose-coloured sandstone, now translated into the smallest and most personal object in the room. The radiating rib detail connects the Aster to the broader Mohh design language of craft surfaces and considered texture — the same fan pattern that appears across the object range, each time in a new context and each time more interesting for its placement.
