Boresh Bar Cart

The bar cart that makes the graphic its centrepiece.
There are bar carts that display the bottles and there are bar carts that display themselves — that arrive in the room with a design statement so considered and so confident that the evening reorganises itself around the piece before a single glass is poured. The Boresh was designed to make that statement. A warm acacia wood top and two lower shelves sit within a matt black metal frame where the entire front face is a ribbed glass panel printed with a bold geometric pattern — rows of large black circles connected by horizontal bars repeating in a grid that references mid-century design, Indian bead-work, and the graphic confidence of a piece that knows exactly what it is. The fluted glass adds depth and texture to the pattern — the vertical ribbing catching the light and making the graphic composition shift and shimmer as the cart moves through the room.
Acacia carries the warmth and distinctive grain of honest Indian timber across the top surface and lower shelves — the warm reddish-brown making the matt black frame and the graphic panel appear more dramatic by contrast. The curved handle bar at the top gives the cart the considered grip of a piece designed to be pushed with ease and arrived at with intention. Castors give the Boresh the freedom to follow the gathering wherever the evening leads.
