EclipseGlow Lamp

The lamp that gives the room three kinds of light at once.
There are table lamps that produce light and there are table lamps that produce an experience — that emit light through surfaces so considered that the room around them feels entirely different from the room they entered. The EclipseGlow was designed to produce that experience. A broken white perforated metal body — rounded rectangular, considered in its proportions — emits light through hundreds of small circular perforations on its curved sides, casting a considered pattern of light points across every surface around it. At the front, a vertically ribbed glass panel diffuses a broader, warmer glow — the same fluted surface that appears across the Mohh object range, here given its most luminous expression. White ash wood caps the top and grounds the base — the honest warmth of the timber giving the white metal body the material anchor it needs to belong in the room rather than merely occupy it.
Three surfaces, three qualities of light — the perforated sides casting their constellation of small points across the walls and ceiling, the ribbed front panel sending a warm diffused column of light forward into the room, and the ash wood reflecting the warmth of both. The EclipseGlow was designed not as a single light source but as a considered lighting composition in one object — the kind of lamp that makes the room feel as though the light itself was designed rather than simply turned on.
