Kross Nesting Tables

The Kross Nesting Tables were designed for that second kind of relationship. A taller circular table with a three-lobed trefoil base stands beside a lower D-shaped companion on a clean cylindrical base — the two forms sharing the same deep black stained wood while carrying entirely different geometric languages. At the centre of the circular top, a cream Y-shaped inlay sits with the quiet precision of a detail that gives the entire dark composition its one moment of warmth — the single accent that makes the darkness around it more absolute and more considered.
Black stained wood carries the warmth of honest timber through both pieces — the grain visible beneath the darkness, present in every surface and every base — while the trefoil base of the taller table gives it the organic, three-lobed form of a piece that found its base in nature rather than geometry.
