Revo Pouf

The pouf that tied itself together. And made that the point.
There are poufs that occupy a corner and there are poufs that make the corner more interesting for their presence — that bring such considered form and tactile craft intention to the simplest seat in the room that the act of sitting down, or simply looking across at it, feels like an encounter with something made with genuine care. The Revo was designed for that encounter. A single cognac leatherite covers the entire piece — from the radiating pleated crown to the smooth, settled base — in one unified material conversation. At the top, four deep parallel pleats radiate outward from the centre of the dome in the gathered, tied quality of a traditional Indian turban crown or a flower bud that hasn’t quite opened — the most considered craft detail on a piece designed entirely around the idea of gathering. A horizontal binding strap cinches the waist between the pleated dome and the wider smooth base — the tied quality that makes the Revo feel like a piece that was bound with intention rather than simply upholstered.
Cognac leatherite gives the Revo the warm, earthen tone of a colour chosen with cultural intention — the hue of clay, of terracotta vessels, of the warm Indian palette that has always known how to hold warmth without demanding attention. The radiating pleats carry the craft heritage of gathered fabric into a material that holds every fold with permanent precision — the pouf as textile object, the leatherite as the medium that makes the gathering last. A pouf designed in India, for the home that understands the most considered objects are always the ones that carry a cultural gesture in their form — even the smallest seat in the room.
