Tubular armrests in rich leatherite sweep from the backrest around and down to the seat rail in one continuous, rounded curve — generous, comfortable, and entirely their own. A floating backrest cushion sits within a black stained frame, the thin dark reveal at the top edge making the junction of materials as considered as every other detail in the piece. And at the base, four bundled legs — each one a cluster of rounded rods gathered together like a fascine of reeds — taper to rounded black feet that ground the chair with the quiet authority of a piece that has thought about every element from the floor up.
